Welcome to Babbidge Patch site located in Falmouth, Maine!

I have been involved in the Knitting & Crochet industry since 1983;
first with selling knitting machines, running a cottage industry,  then
as a designer. I started out knitting hats for my children, shops and
fairs in the 80's. I use the traditional 2 or 4 knitting needles as well
as knitting machines and crochet hooks; all depending on the
project and results that I'm looking to achieve.  



I've authored Puffins and Pine Trees,  machine knitting, 1991 by
Down East Books published; former staff writer for Knitting Machine
News and Views, and Machine Knitters Source, and most recently,
crochet designs for Crochet! Magazine, Hooked on Crochet, and
designs included in two hardcover books, Easy as 1,2,3 Crochet,
and Quick Stitch Crochet published by DRG publications.
