My design inspiration is drawn from Maine's natural treasures, often while pursuing some of my outdoor hobbies of gardening, cycling, fly fishing, canoeing, hiking, cross country skiing I've authored Puffins and Pine Trees, a knitting machine pattern book, Down East Books; am a former staff writer for Knitting Machine News and Views, and Machine Knitters Source; and more recently, a crochet designer for Crochet! Magazine, Hooked on Crochet, and had designs published in two hardcover books, Easy as 1,2,3 Crochet, and Quick Stitch Crochet published by DRG publications. I'm totally obsessed with creating beautiful fiber-ware while not at my day job as a Biologist working in Regulatory Affairs for a Biotech company in Southern Maine.
